With Society Archivist, Kayleigh Howald

Thursday, June 12, 2025

While Henry Morrison Flagler is often synonymous with Florida’s east coast, Flagler’s journey through Florida in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries is more complex than his many railroad ventures, hotels, and land companies. Join Kayleigh Howald for this unique exploration into Flagler’s early life, his Florida years, and his impact on the Sunshine State. The lecture will also delve into Flagler’s personal life and, of course, the many myths surrounding the legendary Flagler.
