“Summer at Sea” Outdoor Movie Series

“20 Thousand Leagues Under the Sea”– 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, from 1954, is a wild, retro-futuristic ocean adventure packed with campy energy, fistfights, and a surprisingly cheerful, guitar-strumming Kirk Douglas. Based on Jules Verne’s classic novel from 1870. It follows three survivors who investigate mysterious ship sinkings, only to be taken captive aboard the Nautilus by the brilliant but vengeance-seeking Captain Nemo.

July 9th. Doors open 7pm. Movie starts 8:40pm. $10/person.

History exhibits open. Pre-movie outdoor games and trivia.

Delray Beach Historical Society outdoor patio. Bring a picnic dinner. Free popcorn, water, tea.

Low profile chairs and blankets encouraged.

Parking across the street at the Old School Square Parking Garage.

Alcohol prohibited. Weather permitting.
