“”Fish Tales Revisited – A Local History of Fishing”

With DBHS’s John Miller, a fourth-generation local fisherman! John Miller’s family has been here since 1903. They built and lived in what has become the modern-day Original Popcorn House. John is very involved with sporting and environmental organizations and is a member of the West Palm Beach Fishing Club, The Friends of Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge, 1000 Friends of Florida, The Coastal Conservation Association, and a volunteer with the Institute of Regional Conservation and Palm Beach County’s Environmental Resource Management. He is a SCUBA enthusiuast and a lifelong fisherman who learned the sport from his father. He enjoys spending as much time on the water as possible.

September 15th. 6pm social. Lecture begins 6:30pm.

Delray Beach Historical Society historic Bungalow. 3 NE 1st Street, Delray Beach. Refreshments served.
