Cyanotype – Second Summer Session

Join artist and master naturalist Autumn Kioti as you explore the intricacies of our garden plants through imagery and light. Cyanotypes are made using paper coated with light sensitive chemicals. Images are created by placing objects directly on the UV light sensitized paper.
Participants will explore the Swinton Community Growing Project’s Food Forest and the Delray Beach Historical Society’s native plant habitats to collect plants and flowers for use in their artwork. You are encouraged to bring your own plant matter or other 2D objects from home to experiment!
