“Summer at Sea” Workshops!
“Pioneer Portrait Painting”– With renowned local artist Patricia (Pati) McGuire. Students will enjoy an exclusive tour of the Delray Beach Historical Society archive and learn about Delray’s most prominent pioneers. Pati will instruct students about color mixing and painting techniques. Students will participate in a creative group painting project and choose from an array of inspirational pioneers to paint, and will take their painting home!
Pati’s award winning work has been exhibited at the Oil Painters of America National Exhibit, the Boca Raton Museum of Art, the Coral Springs Museum of Art, The Cornell Museum in Delray Beach, Lighthouse Art Center and Museum in Tequesta, the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County, and other art venues throughout South Florida. Her paintings presently hang in galleries in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and the Vail Valley as well as in private and corporate collections in Rio de Janeiro, Paris, Caracas, Montreal and throughout the USA.
Pati is a Signature Member of the Boca Raton Museum of Art Artists’ Guild, Founding Board of Directors of Plein Air Palm Beach Painters, member of The American Society of Impressionist Painters, Oil Painters of America, American Artists Professional League, National Oil and Acrylic Painters.
June 29th. 10am-3pm. Delray Beach Historical Society Bungalow. 3 NE 1st Street, Delray Beach.
Ages 12-17. Each student should bring a bagged lunch.
$30 per/student. All supplies are included.
