Join us all summer in historic Cason Cottage as we feature iconic 1960’s movies!
Tour our history exhibits: “Land of Sunshine & Dreams, the History of the 1950’s & 1960’s!” 11am – 3pm, Tuesday – Friday and Saturday by reservation … and stay for a movie! $5 entry.
Showings at 11:00am & 1:00pm.
JUNE: “A Raisin in the Sun” – Award-winning, powerful film depicting black life in midcentury America. A celebration of the human spirit, starring Sidney Poitier.
JULY: ” The Birds” – Horror classic from Alfred Hitchcock.
AUGUST: “Woodstock” – Oscar-winning rock-doc, capturing the three-day rock concert and celebration of peace and love that became a capstone for the 60’s.
