This summer the DBHS is bringing back the Snail Mail Revolution to inspire even more children to unlock the power of handwriting, artwork, paper, stamps, and stories. And for the campers who completed the camp last year, the Society will host an “Advanced Snail Mail Camp” with a whole new set of activities.
Campers will explore the history of communication with interactive games and activities; connect with pen pals around the globe; learn to use typewriters, feather quills, and fountain pens; decorate letter boxes; and build their own collections of international stamps. Campers will also interact with writers, artists, papermakers VIP Civic Leaders… even the Barefoot Mailman!
